TestimonialsBack to work safely“For three years I did the same job in a production plant and everything went well. I had a steady paycheque and enough energy at the end of the day to play with my kids and enjoy my twice-weekly runs. Then I started to feel so much pain in my shoulders …first one and then the other …that I could barely pick up my toddler when she ran to me. I didn’t know what was going on. My full life was suddenly just full of pain. A friend of mine suggested I see the physiotherapists at IMPACT Health. He said that they had helped him and were very thorough in getting to the root of the problem. I didn’t even have a doctor’s referral at that point (although I did get a prescription for physiotherapy later). I just walked in and asked if they had any idea what had gone wrong. With their help and thoroughness of their assessment, they discovered that one recent small change in my work station on the assembly line was throwing my body out of line a bit and causing extra stress on my shoulders. Working with the Worker’s Compensation Board, they prescribed physiotherapy and got rid of the pain within two sessions. Then I worked to regain strength and they helped me make a graduated return to work to avoid injuring myself again. They made a recommendation about the height of a certain procedure and my company followed it and not only do I feel better, but the problem has been solved for myself and others. I would highly recommend this company if you run into a workplace injury. Their professionalism, their ability to work easily with WCB to find a solution, and their high-tech treatments that got me feeling better quickly were more than I could have anticipated.”
